They want to meet at a hotel, or want body photos before we meet. Is that normal?

No. Castings happen in a studio or office, with someone able to come with you, with clothes on. “Come alone” and “don’t tell anyone” are, by themselves, reasons to decline.

Things you are entitled to ask for

The place. A studio or office where other people are present. Decline hotel rooms and private homes.

Someone with you. Asking to bring a person is not a rude request. If that is refused, the refusal is all the information you need.

A changing space, and who will be on set. Ask in advance.

Digitals with clothes on. A plain face shot and a plain full-length shot are enough for any legitimate casting.

The concept belongs in writing, beforehand

Lingerie, swimwear and nude work must be stated in the listing and the contract. Agreeing to a commercial job and being asked for it on the day is a breach, and you can refuse.

Minors need a guardian’s consent and presence. PODIANE does not accept anyone under 18.

How PODIANE handles it

Brands pass an approval step, and contact details are never exposed to either side.

Inappropriate contact can be reported and the brand is suspended. A model can block any brand at any time.
