Agency bookings concentrate on a small share of the roster. The rest are under contract but may work only a few days a month, and markets outside the big cities are often not covered at all.

What to insist on when you book directly

Put the fee and the payment date in writing. PODIANE will not publish a paid casting without a stated fee.

Write the four usage axes into the contract: media, term, territory, exclusivity.

Agree in advance whether the fee is still paid if the shoot is cancelled.

Keep the conversation on the platform. Off-platform, nothing is on record.

When an agency is still the better answer
